听力篇
听写部分如何速记
听力测试的第一部分——听写，要求考生根据所听内容，准确填写试题中空缺的内容。由于所听到的英语速度较快，故应尽可能使用缩略语或单词首字母等简要易懂的速记方式，不受语法与拼写等问题的影响。在这里，可尽多地采用电脑网络用语。如：by the way可缩略为BTW；Oh , I see可缩略为OIC; see you可缩略为CU; face to face可缩略为F2F; talk to you later可缩略为TTYL等等；也可采用电传及外报广告缩写（见附录）。倘若对英语缩略词不熟，甚至可以自创一些速记符号，如中文简写，以防因英语单词过长而跟不上英语速度，如听到填充中的beautiful则可用“美”来表示该单词。最后，按上述缩写词或中文代号整理、补充记录，再根据所听到的文章内容，结合英语语法和习惯用法将词组完整、准确地填入相应的答案空格。

在现代英语中，无论口语还是书面语言，都流行以短词来代替长词，尤其在报纸的标题与栏目名上更为突出，既简捷又节省篇幅。

在听写部分结束后，可暂不整理核填写有关听写部分的答案，最好先利用所给的这段时间迅速浏览听力测试的第二部分。一旦听力理解开始，应集中精力多听少记，即：多听，心记细节内容；少记，重点记下与选择题有关的词语。提问大致分细节题和推理题：细节题一般直奔主题，针对具体内容提问，若提问中出现或强调Not或Except这类词时，就选择在听力理解题中没有出现过的内容，还有注意“入乡随俗”，不要以中国人的生活习惯代替外国人的；推理题则包括对人、事、物、时间、主题、含意等的推测，对一些较长选项，可先看A、C项，再看D项，如均否，即B项。
听译部分要注意：
由于考试只听一遍，所以要多听少记，即：多听，心记整个大意；少记，重点记下人名、地名、时间、数字等易忘的重要内容。翻译时应先保证内容的正确、完整，再注意表达通顺，听译时不仅要注意句子中的升降调以及单词的重读和弱读，而且要准确辨音。如：The teacher collected the papers himself. 不要混淆成The teacher corrected the papers himself. 在当今听力考试中一般均采用美式英语，因此熟悉美式英语发音的特点以及它与英式英语发音的异同，是十分必要的。
